Job Description for a Specialist ADHD Nurse job in Brighton

As a Specialist ADHD Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing ADHD in patients across various age groups. Essential Requirements for Specialist ADHD Nurse job in Brighton

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC registration.
  • Experience in assessing and managing ADHD in children, adolescents, or adults.
  • Strong understanding of ADHD medications, treatment strategies, and NICE guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and families.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and mental health legislation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) qualification (or willingness to train).
  • Experience working in ADHD, neurodevelopmental, or CAMHS services.
