Key Responsibilities of a Nurse Practitioner:
- Provide a full range of primary care services, including physical exams, health assessments, and diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and order and also interpret diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventative measures, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice
The skill of Nurse Practitioner in Southampton
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and also triage service
- Have recent experience in face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
Experience of Nurse Practioner
- One must be a Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
