A new opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s fantastic team in Market Rasen. The Healthcare Centre is a GP surgery that also offers a walk-in clinic. It is open 365 days a year from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
We are looking for a permanent member of the team, but we can also be flexible to work around your other commitments, so whether you are looking for a changeless/adaptable or bank part, we would like to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Every day, as a Nurse Practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients autonomously, which is critical to the unit’s success. In addition to ordering investigations and interpreting results, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and health promotion to members of the general public who use urgent care services.
You will provide the general public with safe and effective telephone advice, health assessments, and information, as well as safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients attending Primary Care Centres.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and triage service
- Have recent experience in face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
Qualifications
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognized Minor Illness. Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Recognized Nurse Prescribing Qualification
