JOB OVERVIEW

Locum meds is currently advertising for an Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Manchester. Our Nurse Prescriber will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating diagnoses, and utilizing evidence-based practice to determine appropriate interventions or medications. With this role, the Nurse Prescriber will be able to practice independently, safely, ethically, and also legally within the scope of the Practicing Nurse Prescriber, prescribing medications, and other therapies according to best practices.

 

Job Description

This ANP job in Manchester role will require liaising with other healthcare professionals, providing advice and education to other healthcare professionals and patients, and also ensuring accurate documentation is kept on file. However, a valid nursing license, certification as a Nurse Prescriber, and current BLS certification are mandatory for this position.

Qualifications for a Nurse Prescriber job in Manchester

To register and practice as a nurse prescriber in the United Kingdom, you must first meet the following qualifications:

-Firstly, you must be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

-Secondly, one must have completed a recognized prescribing qualification.

-Thirdly, you must have at least two years of post-registration experience as a nurse.

-Lastly, you must be able to demonstrate competence in prescribing.
