JOB OVERVIEW
Locum Nurse Practitioner In Basingstoke Required. A clinic in Basingstoke is seeking a dermatology nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for 10 months from march to 2024.
On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between 50 and 70 patients for a variety of skin care cases. This is a full-time position requiring the locum to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and also check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Qualifications
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognized Minor Illness and also Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Recognized Nurse Prescribing Qualification
Skills
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Experience
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and triage service
- Have recent experience in face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
