We are looking for a Dentist Benefits job in Ashby Woulds to join our team who will provide holistic and also quality care to our patients.
A dentist, often known as a dental practitioner, conducts oral examinations and treats dental and oral health issues. Moreover, they provide their patients recommendations on how to prevent gum and tooth disorders as well as advice on how to maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities
- Individuals should be educated about oral healthcare
- Employing techniques such as x-rays, checking teeth and diagnosing dental issues
- Evaluate therapy alternatives and reach treatment agreements with patients
- Carry out agreed-upon clinical procedures such as tooth restoration and gum disease therapy
- Keep track of patients’ dental records
- Recruit, train, and manage employees; manage budgets and equipment inventories; and promote services to new clients.
Qualifications
Approved degree in dentistry
Skills
High-level communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
It also requires manual dexterity and technical dental skills, as well as the capacity to maintain intense concentration for extended periods.
Interest in the welfare of others and a sympathetic demeanor, in particular to deal with patients’ fears.
Computers for bookkeeping, accounting, radiograph and intraoral image digitization, solid administrative and management skills are required to run a dental business.
Experience
Member of the British Dental Association (BDA)
