Nurse Prescriber Jobs London
This is a unique vacancy for a Nurse Prescriber in London to join a forward-thinking and extremely supportive general practice; full support is provided however you must be able to independently prescribe to a variety of conditions within Primary care.
The position is to work across two sites within London and surrounding areas; you will be required to work three days at one site (closest to London) and two days at another site (which is not far from London).
Duties and Responsibility of a Nurse Prescriber
The nurse prescriber in London will perform the following duties:
- To be responsible for the assessment of the health and clinical needs of the patient, undertaking consultations with patients as an autonomous practitioner using advanced clinical practice skills, using own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.
- Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. As a skilled member of the nursing team promotes and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
- Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
- Develop own competence to deliver effective care and also treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge/skill, and expertise.
Qualifications of a Nurse prescriber in London
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognised Minor Illness and also Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Recognised Nurse Prescribing Qualification
Skills of a Nurse prescriber in London
- One must be a Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
Experience of a Nurse prescriber
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and also triage service
- Have recent experience of face-to-face patient care
