Responsibilities of Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling, and guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Key Responsibilities of Advanced Nurse Practitioner:
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and discharging patients autonomously every day. In addition to requesting examinations and deciphering results, you’ll be in charge of giving an incredible standard of patient care and well-being promotion to the overall population getting to critical care services. You will also provide safe and effective telephone advice, health assessment, and information to the general public and provide safe and effective health assessments going to Primary Care Centers
Skills & Experience:
- Recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Competent in telephone advice and triage service
- Recent experience in face-to-face patient care
- Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
Qualification Requirements:
- NMC registration
- A clinical qualification within your area of expertise
- A Master in clinical practice, if undertaken but not essential
- Evidence of completion of:
- NMC PIN
- Physical assessment and clinical reasoning
- Pathophysiology, and diagnostic reasoning in clinical practice
- Completing a course on ordering and criteria for x-rays is advantageous
- 12 months experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within the last 3 years in the UK
- Moving and Handling training (available when you join)
- Strong communication skills, organization, flexibility, and good teamwork skills
- The right to work in the UK
