We are currently looking for Nurse Prescriber for a locum or permanent job in Dorchester.
We are currently working with an Urgent Care Centre in Dorchester providing Locum Emergency Nurse Practitioner cover.
There will also be an opportunity for ongoing locum opportunities at this urgent care centre.
The successful candidate will be a band 6-7 nurse and hold an up to date nursing certificate. The candidate will need to be able to assess, treat and discharge patients without referring to any other clinician.
To work successfully in the urgent care centre we are recruiting for, the ENP will able to plaster, bandage, stitch and X-Ray. Having the capacity to see minor sickness and prescribe is an advantage but not essential for the role.
Qualifications and experience required:
Nurse/Paramedic Qualification
Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience
Clinical experience in primary health care, A&E or other acute settings
Minor injuries experience within an acute setting
Active experience of a multidisciplinary team.

Clinical Practice
