An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner post in Alcester to support the delivery of high quality and auspicious care to patients, alluded by means of the 2-week hold up the pathway.

You will be a first level registered nurse, possessing a degree in a health related subject and have completed an accredited health assessment course. Completion of the Nurse Prescribing module is desirable but not essential.

You will be an established band 6 or band 7, with evidence of leadership, management, clinical expertise and experience with colorectal/ gastroenterology patients.

This service in Alcester,  We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner based on minor injuries provides inpatient and day case elective surgery across the following specialities Orthopaedics, Oral Surgery, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT (ear, nose and throat), Urology, Eye Surgery, Endoscopy and Pain Management.

The role is to assist in the provision of a quality nurse led service to patients attending the Minor Injury Unit. The post holder will assess patients health needs with a range of minor illness and injury conditions, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals and/or seek advice and support from a more experienced member of staff.
