Permanent Practice Nurse vacancy available in Southchurch

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Practice Nurse to join our client established & friendly GP surgery in the Southchurch area.

The successful applicant will receive support, training opportunities and clinical supervision to be able to develop their career whilst working in a fast paced and challenging environment.

The role includes some weekend working on a rotational basis which ensures you know well in advance your days on and off enabling you to plan your life around your work.

Practice Nurse Requirements:

• Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
• The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
• Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
• The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
• Child and adult immunisations
• Cervical Cytology (Not essential)
• Asthma and COPD monitoring (Desirable)
• Family planning
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
• Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
