JOB OVERVIEW
We currently have Nurse Practitioner Jobs In Newent for GP Surgery.
The post holder will assess patients’ health needs with a variety of minor illness and injury conditions, plan their care, administer treatment, and discharge them as appropriate to other social insurance experts, as well as seek counsel and support from a more experienced member of staff.
The hours are 08:00 – 14:30 Monday–Friday ongoing.
This starts on Monday.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and triage service
- Have recent experience in face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
Qualifications
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognized Minor Illness. Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Recognized Nurse Prescribing Qualification
