Locum Meds is working closely with a practice in London who require an experienced Nurse Practitioner. You must have experience of seeing and treating Minor Illness, and be a Prescriber.
Duties of a Nurse Practitioner in London
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Qualifications of a Nurse Practitioner in London
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognised Minor Illness. Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
Skills of a Nurse Practitioner in London
- One must be a Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
Experience of a Nurse Practitioner
- Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
- Be competent in telephone advice and also triage service
- Have recent experience of face-to-face patient care
- Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
