JOB OVERVIEW
We currently have a Nurse Practitioner job in Birkenhead for GP Surgery.
The post holder will assess patients’ health needs with a range of minor illness and injury conditions, plan their care, administer treatment, and also discharge them as proper to other social insurance experts and additionally look for counsel and support from a more experienced individual from staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Qualifications
- Valid NMC Pin
- Independent Prescribing
- Recent experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role and also has experience in primary care: GP surgery, Walk-in Centre, Urgent Care Centres, etc.
Skills
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and also written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Experience
-
- One must Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
- Recent experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role
- Experience working in Primary Care: GP surgery, Walk-in Centre, Urgent Care Centres, etc.
