Description:
We are looking for an Experienced Nurse Prescriber to join our team who will provide holistic and also quality care to our patients.
As a Nurse Prescriber, it is your responsibility to monitor patients’ conditions and prescribe the right medications to ensure their health and wellbeing. You will assess each case individually, considering medical history and current lab records before deciding on the best course of action. You must be familiar with prescribing standards and regulations, as well as up-to-date on best practices for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counselling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Qualifications
Masters in Nursing
Skills
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Experience
- One must Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
