We are working with a busy health centre in Runcorn who is looking to cover a 7 day per week service with experienced Nurse Prescribers

The successful candidate will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taken, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment to the evaluation of care. You will show safe clinical basic leadership and mastermind working cooperatively with the general practice group to address the issues of patients.

You will be able to choose from a wide variety of shifts across 7 days per week so if you are available 1 day per week or 7 we can fit the shifts around you, we currently have rota up until the summer!.

Practice Nurse Position In Runcorn area!

Locum Meds is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work on a locum basis within a GP Surgery near the Runcorn area.

In return, we are offering £30-£60 per hour(including holiday pay). This is a great opportunity to take back control of your working rota by working only shifts that suit you and a chance to work with a wider variety of patients.

 Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and also physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

 Qualifications

• RGN
• Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
• Recognized Minor Illness and also injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
• Recognized Nurse Prescribing Qualification

  Skills

•   Must hold current license/registration to practice

•    Excellent verbal and also written communication skills
•    Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and also discretion
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

Experience

• One must be a Registered Nurse(RN)
• NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
• Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
